I was absent today taking my wife to the hospital for an appointment so our thanks go to Nick Evetts for the pictures.
Doors always seem to be on our critical path so there was more attention today on those fitted to 4614. (sorry I can't identify the who it is)
Paul and Mike were working on panelling for the double doors.
while Geoff was checking the positioning of the boxes to hold the removable tables available for wheelchair users.
Colin has started on another door section
while Eddie was busy cutting the various grooves required in the end woods for the emergency brake mechanism. These are the BSK 34929
Bryan and John Hamer started the year with a smile; I hope it lasts. That brake rigging is well out of shape and will need a lot of work to get it aligned again.
Some assistance from Ken Austin one of our welders repaying the fact that John had done an early trip to our gas suppliers. We were out of the Argon light used on the welding units. I suspect Nick was probably welding elsewhere himself but like all photographers he missed out on being in one of the pictures.
Back from their extended brake the upholstery team resumed fitting seats in the south end of 4614.
